Sharing Experience

In recent months, HARG trustees have been actively sharing, nationally, the good practice and valuable experience of developing and maintaining the HARG advocacy network 'model'; whereby independent, locally-based advocacy schemes work together as a regional network, so as to be able to deliver a full range of quality advocacy services.

All those involved with HARG value greatly the same core guiding principles (as contained in our Advocacy Standards and Code of Practice), and believe that these principles are best protected through working together as part of the HARG advocacy network. In recent months trustees have spoken at national advocacy conferences, and have travelled to different parts of the country in order to share our experience of working in this way with other advocacy organisations wishing to set up similar networks in their own areas.
