HARG Training – Supporting Advocacy Excellence

Development and learning are at the core of HARG's advocacy services, and HARG Training is now an approved City and Guilds training centre. HARG Training has been created to meet the learning and professional development needs of our advocacy workforce.

Self-Advocacy - from strength to strength

Speaking up for yourself – self-advocating – is probably the most powerful and empowering form of advocacy. HARG organisations support / facilitate many different self-advocacy groups across the county, and the work of these groups is also recognised annually through the hugely enjoyable 'Self Advocacy Day' (bringing together 100+ self advocates from across Hampshire).

Sharing Experience

In recent months, HARG trustees have been actively sharing, nationally, the good practice and valuable experience of developing and maintaining the HARG advocacy network 'model'; whereby independent, locally-based advocacy schemes work together as a regional network, so as to be able to deliver a full range of quality advocacy services.
